Meet our Principal

Dr. Kevin Culpepper

I am honored to serve as High School Principal at American United School and bring more than 25 years of experience in education, including international leadership as a high school principal in Honduras. My career spans classroom teaching, district and state leadership, instructional innovation, higher education, and leading educational conference workshops, providing me with a broad and global perspective on student learning and school improvement. In addition to my K–12 leadership experience, I have served as an Associate Professor, teaching in Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) programs focused on Educational Leadership and Instructional Technology.

I am a passionate instructional leader who believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and consistent, high-quality classroom instruction are the foundation of a successful school. I am deeply committed to supporting teachers, fostering collaboration, and using data-informed practices to ensure every student experiences meaningful and engaging learning each day.

At AUS, I look forward to partnering with students, families, and faculty to build a thriving, inclusive, and high-performing school community. My goal is to cultivate an environment where students are challenged to excel, teachers feel empowered and supported, and families are active and valued partners in the educational journey.
