Meet our Principal
I am delighted to be a member of the AUS Elementary Administration as the Elementary Principal. I’m originally from Jacksonville, Florida. I bring over seventeen years of experience in the field of education. I have experience in both the U.S. and international schools in a variety of socio-economic settings. The breadth of my educational experience is in the primary and early childhood years. I truly enjoy supporting students and teachers in the foundation years of their social, emotional and academic development. I believe the goal of 21st century education is not, “what to learn” but instead “how to learn”. The mastery of the “how to learn” is what students require to meet the challenges of the ever-changing world both inside and outside the classroom. As educators in the 21st century, it is critical that we model lifelong learning, and its various forms in our daily interactions with students and faculty.
If you are currently a member of the AUS family, I look forward to greeting you this fall! If you are considering AUS, please sign up for a tour on our website and see for yourself what the AUS difference is all about!
