Learning Differences

American United School (AUS) Learning Support Services currently does not offer a comprehensive level of services to support individuals that have learning differences. This is primarily because AUS has not been designated as a special needs school by the Ministry of Education. We cannot offer services to students with known learning differences. We cannot offer direct instructional services by a credentialed classroom teacher with training, education and experience in special education. The school does not provide and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). In addition, the school does not offer special education related services such as speech and language, specialized medical support, occupational therapy and adaptive physical education.

As stated in the school application, the parent is required to check the Acknowledgement section which states, “The information provided in this application is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that failure to provide complete and accurate information, withholding information, providing false information, or providing forged documents is a violation of AUS standards of ethics and behavior. Any misrepresentation of information in in the application or supporting documents, including but not limited to the above list, may result in the rejection of my application, my admission being rescinded, or disciplinary action and dismissal from AUS. I understand that all credentials submitted in support of this application become the property of the School and are not returnable.”
