Background: I am honored and thrilled to be able to start this exciting challenge as Head Coach of Real Madrid Foundation at AUS.
A project that will be the instrument by which Real Madrid will be present in Kuwait to implement its methodology and develop its social and cultural awareness within the community. The main objective will be to promote our values through sport and education, teaching children the importance of commitment, responsibility and teamwork, which will be essential for their success in their future working life.
This is my first year in Kuwait and I am excited about the responsibility I have been given and the opportunity to start developing a specialized football program that is designed and tailored to each stage of the player's development.
I have over 20 years of experience training in Spain, China, Egypt, Lebanon, Dubai, USA and Singapore.
I enjoy being able to give the players the key to opening the doors of learning through football and to show them the tools and skills they are able to use in the football field to be good footballers and better persons.
I feel fortunate to be given this opportunity and to be joining the AUS community

Background: Hello, my name is Wilmer Rodriguez. I am excited to become a part of the AUS team as a football coach for the Real Madrid Foundation. Before joining AUS I coached Elementary students for five years in Bangkok, Thailand. Along with my coaching, I also studied at The Open University of Milton Keynes, United Kingdom for a degree in mathematics. I have been a Real Madrid fan since childhood and I love to play football and pass along my knowledge and ideology to children. I believe that children need to be active to stay healthy and I enjoy working with them to develop their football skills. I work to create and provide fun practices that will also help players push themselves to the next level of the game. I am here with my wife, Ashley, the Elementary Assistant Principal and our children Emma and Jack. I am excited for a great year at AUS.
